Ambassadøren besøger Szczecin

10th February in Szczecin, Ambassador Steen Hommel met with Voivode of West Pomeranian Voivodeship Piotr Jania and Deputy Voivode Marek Subocz. Honorary Consul of Denmark in Szczecin Andrzej Preiss accompanied the ambassador. During the meeting, Danish investments in the region were discussed. The voivode assured that the already well established bilateral relations between Poland and Denmark will be developed even further. Danish companies in West Pomerania are well esteemed and there is mutual interest in further growth of investments.

The same day, the ambassador participated in an annual New Year’s Reception of the Multinational Corps Northeast. Apart from giving a briefing on Poland to the military and civic officials present at the reception, ambassador Hommel also used the opportunity to meet and talk to the new Polish Deputy Commander – Colonel Krzysztof Król. http://mncne.pl/deputy-commander/

Also on 10th February in Szczecin, the ambassador visited the headquarters and a warehouse of Netto. Steen Hommel discussed the current trends for business with Netto’s CEO Kent Fogh Petersen.
