Passing of Honorary Consul Prof. Dr. Krystian Ziemski

It is with deep sadness and sorrow that we inform you of the passing of Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Denmark Prof. Dr. Krystian Ziemski

We would like to express our deepest sympathy to his family and friends, colleagues and the academic community.

Honorary Consul Krystian Ziemski held his position for twenty years. The word 'impossible' did not exist in his vocabulary - he was always ready to help Danish citizens at any time of day or night. During meetings at the Embassy, he would greet everyone with a broad smile and a question "what can I do." He loved to talk about his students, colleagues, and the city of Poznań, which was his place on Earth. He was an extraordinarily brilliant and joyful man. We are extremely grateful for his service. He will be missed greatly.
