His Majesty King Frederik X of Denmark on an official trade promotion visit to Poland

His Majesty King Frederik X of Denmark will pay a visit to Poland from 31 January to 2 February upon invitation of the President of the Republic of Poland, His Excellency Andrzej Duda.

His Majesty The King will head a large Danish business delegation of 38 Danish companies accompanied by Minister for Foreign Affairs Lars Løkke Rasmussen, Minister for Climate, Energy and Utilities Lars Aagaard and Minister for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries Jacob Jensen. The focus of the business delegation is energy efficiency and climate-friendly agricultural production and biogas. Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen will also participate in the visit.

In Warsaw, The King will meet with the President of Poland, His Excellency Andrzej Duda, in the Presidential Palace and with the leaders of the Senate and the Polish lower chamber, the Sejm. In addition, His Majesty will participate in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Yet, the main focus of the visit is commercial cooperation. In Szczecin, the visit will focus on off shore wind and port development and The King will attend a reception with the participation of the city's large Danish-Polish business community. The visit will conclude with a visit to the NATO Multinational Corps Northeast in Szczecin.
