Solstice at the National Museum in Warsaw

Only until 5.03.2023 you can see the Nordic exhibition at the National Museum in Warsaw.  

The fascinating art of the northern countries at the turn of the 20th century has gained international recognition thanks to excellent exhibitions held in recent decades in the Scandinavian countries, Western Europe, and the USA. The exhibitions have proven the exceptional artistic quality of the paintings.

However, the art of the Nordics has remained unknown in Poland. The National Museum in Warsaw, in cooperation with partners from Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland, has developed a project entitled. "Solstice. Painting of the North 1880-1910." This is the first cross-sectional exhibition of Nordic art of the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries presented in this part of Europe.
