E-commerce

The eCommerce market in Poland is constantly growing and is one of the most dynamically growing in the EU.

Currently more than 70% of all Internet users surveyed buy online. The most popular categories bought online are clothing and accessories, footwear, cosmetics and perfumes. In 2020, Poles made online purchases of over EUR 15.3 billion, an increase of 31.4% compared to 2019.

Polish B2B e-commerce at the end of last year was worth approx. EUR 100 billion with the scale of turnover being several times larger than in the case of B2C. A report prepared for Santander Bank Polska by the Mobile Institute shows that during the pandemic the value of B2B e-commerce grew by 30%, and forecasts for 2021 predict an increase of up to 40%.
